ABOUT ERIN

Professional Background

I’ve served as a leader and executive in the retail clothing and fashion industry for two decades, driving extraordinary business results. During my career, I worked for Dick’s Sporting Goods, Charlotte Russe, Lucky Brand and Torrid. It’s been rewarding to lead creative teams in bringing new product ideas to life through innovative strategy and a customer focused approach. My favorite part of every job was fostering effective teams and developing people - seeing each person’s unique strengths and supporting their success. Shifting my career to coaching has been a natural and joyful progression for me.

I’m trained by the Academy for Coaching Excellence (ACE), accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Commitment to Community

I have a vision for a more connected, compassionate and sustainable world. In order to take part in making this a reality, I value being a contributor to my community. I serve on the board of the PTA at my kids’ school, where we are dedicated to supporting art and multicultural enrichment. I also participate in advocacy efforts for sound environmental, energy and climate policy in my city.

My Loves

I’m married to a kind guy, who is committed to a better world through his work in sustainable investing. We have two young daughters, who inspire and teach us powerful lessons on a daily basis. ♥️

I live in LA, but grew up in Pittsburgh and it’ll always be in my heart. I also spent awesome years of my life in Boston, San Diego and San Francisco.

I love doodling with my daughters, taking adventures with my husband, and that feeling of possibility when I hike a mountain or travel. I learn from my own mistakes, books (on hope and neuroscience), and podcasts (on psychology and entrepreneurship). I feel happy when laughing until I cry with people that I love. I deepen connection to self through yoga, writing and my morning cup of earl grey (which I’m practicing to sit and savor). ☕️

My Story

I’ve always valued hard work. Subscribing to this belief, that hard work gets rewarded, means that life should always feel “hard”, right? This belief supplied me with a lot of good things, but also came with a steady buzz of stress and pressure. I started to notice that I was always working for “it” - a company, expectations of what I was supposed to do and be - and “it” wasn’t working for me. My worth was tangled up with conditioning of what I “should be” and self-doubts of “not enough” that pushed me to keep achieving at all costs. I was stressed and I put my own health and care at the bottom of my mounting to-do list. My high-achieving, people-pleasing tendencies that brought me to this point of “success” were simply no longer serving me. I asked myself, what would it be like to do work that I love, care for my family AND ALSO take care of myself? What if a good life meant effort but did not have to be so “hard”?

With the support of family, friends and my coaching program, I began to reclaim joy and purpose in my life. I focused my energy on what was most important to me, and took one step at a time. I went to one yoga class, wrote a poem, volunteered two hours of my time, noted three things I was grateful for… and eventually, these small steps grew into habits and generated momentum for meaningful transformation. I became a professional coach so I could do work that I love – lifting up the unique greatness each of us possesses, supporting others to show up authentically and lead a life they love!

I’d be thrilled to support you to get clear on what matters most to you, do what you love and make the difference you want to make.
